First of all. By conducting a thorough SEO audit of your sites, you can recognize all the problems of your site. They include bad internal links, site structure, images without alt tags, page titles that are too long, and so many other factors affecting your website because they generate more search engine traffic.

Watch out for your page and excerpts

titles"How long should title tags be?" is often one of the most frequently asked questions learning SEO. It is always better to limit the title tags and fragment header tags to less than 70 characters. Anything that exceeds that limit will be broken off in Google search results.

So there is no point in writing long title tags beyond 70 characters. Always practice the habit of writing short and descriptive title tags that display correctly in search results.

When I used Site Audit from SEMrush, I discovered that 36 pages contain too long text with the title tags.

SEMrush tool helped me solve my long title tags shortened in Google results. During the SEMrush SEO audit, I found out that 36 pages on my website contain title titles that are long (title text is more than 70 characters).

So there were 36 pages of long text within the title tag. So what did I do?

I immediately started working on it and lowered the word limit for titles below 70 characters.

Guess what? I no longer have long text within the title tags and I got more click-through rates from search engines to my blog posts.

Correcting images without "alt" tags

We all know how using images can drastically improve our site traffic from search results, especially if they are properly optimized with keywords.

Unfortunately, sometimes you forget to add alt tags to images so they don't generate search traffic even if they are attractive. So what's the best way to overcome this problem?

With SEMrush Site Audit, I discovered that there are 34 images that do not have alt tag attributes.

And I straightened them out right away using the correct keywords on the images I used on those 34 pages.

I must say that my blog is already loading properly, I have never received a complaint from a blog reader about the speed of my site.

But still, I wanted to make sure my blog loads really faster because I know that Google considers site speed an important ranking factor.

Reducing the images, reducing the number of plugins, installing a lazy loading plugin - these are the 3 most important things I did to increase the speed of my website.
